Amar Sewa Mandal, Nagpur is an education society running various institutes in
Nagpur region. Late Govindrao Wanjari College of Law is one among those. The
seed of Amar Sewa Mandal was planted in 1983 by the revolutionary politician,
socialist and educationist Late Shri Govindrao Wanjari. The first venture of
Amar Sewa Mandal, Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya was inaugurated by. Late. Shri.
Rajiv Gandhi on 12th September 1984, since then the college has blossomed and
bloomed into a full-grown tree, producing rich fruits of knowledge and learning.

Late Shri Govindrao Wanjari was a prominent educationist, he had an ideology
'education for all'. He nurtured the dream of all round excellence in education
for middle class society. The process of nurturing institution has been a saga of
tire less toil and perseverance persistent by our President Hon'ble Dr. Suhasini
Govindrao Wanjari.

These painstaking efforts were acknowledged by NAAC (National Assessment
and Accreditation Council) peer team. NAAC Appreciated our attempts for the
development in the field of education and awarded 'A' grade with 86.60% marks.

The college offers wide range of courses in the stream of science, commerce,
arts, computer science, management, home science, library science etc.

Apart from Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Amar Sewa Mandal has developed
various other establishments under the dynamic leadership of our Secretary
Adv. Abhijit G. Wanjarri. He took keen interest in starting Govindrao Wanjari
College of Education (M.Ed., B.Ed. and D.Ed.) in Butibori area so that rural people
should get opportunities to educate their generation.

Having a law background our secretary further looked forward and started law
college with 3 years and 5 years degree course in memory of his father's name
Late Govindrao Wanjari College of Law. Through this law college Amar Sewa
Mandal want to produce brilliant lawyers who will serve the society.

In the year 2005, Amar Sewa Mandal further opened Kamla Nehru College of
Pharmacy with B. Pharm course at Butibori, so as to cater the need of industry in
pharmacy segment.

Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering and Technology was established in
the year 2008 at Salai Godhni, with the view to achieve excellence in application-
based research in technology to contribute to the development of the
community and to imbibe the ethical values among the students to make them
responsive citizens.

Today all the colleges of Amar Sewa Mandal have their own independent
infrastructure with all maximum amenities and facilities. The institutions have
become pioneers in providing paradigmatic excellence and quality education
intervening tradition with technology and morality with modernizations. The
institutions have been catering to the needs of the middle and lower class by
procuring latest facilities and amenities to all.
