All registered students, faculty and staff of the institute are entitled for the membership of the library. The library card is available at the circulation counter.

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables user to search the book in the possession of the library.

It also enables library users to know number of copies available and status of the book weather it is issued or available on stack

1. Students entering the library are required to keep their personal belongings in the property counter.
2. Students should sign in the visitor’s register at the entrance..
3. No transaction will be made without the Library card. Library -card shall be non-transferable.
4. Two books will be issued to the students at a time for 7 days.
5. If the book is not returned within stipulated time limit, a penalty of Rs. 10/- will be imposed per day per book.
6. Renewal process will be subject to claims by other readers.
7. Students can refer the reference book in the library during library hours .They have to return the book on the same day, otherwise fine will be charged @Rs.50 per day.
8. Any existing damage should be brought to the notice of the staff and signature should be obtained otherwise user shall be held responsible.
9. If book is lost, it shall be replaced either by new copy or by paying double the cost of the book.
10. Clearance certificate will not be issued unless all the books are returned and dues are paid.
11. The amount of penalty shall be recovered after Semester examination.
12. For duplicate Library Card a fine of @Rs. 50/- will be charged.
13. Using Mobile, headphone, Online chatting, browsing of social networking sites is strictly prohibited. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters.
14. Playing games on computers is strictly prohibited in the entire Library premises.
15. Rules regarding maintaining silence, utilization of books and library facilities and rules of general discipline should be followed strictly in the library. Students violating the rules will be debarred from library service

The services and facilities provided by library are as follows:

1. Open Access Facility:
   • a.Library allows students in stack area to go & select the book of their interest area to read.
2. Reference Service:
   • Reference Service is an important service offered by the library. It also maintains a collection of reference books consisting of encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks
3. Book Lending Service
   • This service is offered to all library users. The resources borrowed from the library shall be returned on or before the due date during library working hours. Its terms and conditions are mentioned in Library Rules and Regulations.
4. Periodical Service
   • The magazines and journals are made available to library users. Students have to read in library only.
5. E-Journals & E Database Services
   • The library provides l user ID and its password to users for making use of e-resources for Law Finder.
6. Library OPAC
   • The resources of the library have been computerized with LIBMAN software. One computer is installed at the entrance to locate library resources. Users can search the resources by author, title, subject, key words etc.
7. Current Awareness Service
   • Newly arrived books are displayed on the stand installed at the entrance of the library and being displayed for a week. It will be issued only after a week of display.
8. News-Paper Clipping Service
   • The Late GWCL Library is subscribing number of Newspapers. Every day the newspapers are containing very important news in special edition on various subjects which are very useful to the readers. Depending on the usefulness of the information available in the newspaper.
9. User Orientation
   • Library conducts orientation programs for new users. It is to enable them to use library resources effectively.
10. Photocopy & Reprographic Facility
    • The Photocopy & Reprographic service is provided to the users of the library.
11. Wi-Fi Facility
    • The entire library is Wi-Fi enabled; members can use their configuration laptops to access electronic resources.
12. Question Bank Service
    • College Library Provides Question Bank Service to students which are acquired by RTM Nagpur University
13. Other Facilities
    • Recommendation of Books Provision for students and teachers for recommending books for library purchase
    • Reading Facility to Ex-students.
    • Security: Library is equipped with CCTV cameras and fire extinguishers.

Law Finder covers Supreme Court Cases from 1950 (almost total), Privy Council from 1836, All High Courts of India from 1950 besides number of Tribunals and Commissions (DRT, CAT, Consumer Commissions, Intellectual Property, Revenue Boards, Financial Commissioners, Trade Mark Registry, Patent Offices, Armed Forces Tribunal and this list is not compelete.

Law Finder has about 6, 50,000 full text of cases. This Database is growing at speed of over 5000 to 6000 cases every month.
